A virtual musical museum.
A collection of hearable archives.
An audible atlas of the past, present and future.
Musikeum is an on-going collaborative project founded by musician and visual artist Ditte Elly Goard (Ditte Elly, Knight Knight) in 2017.
It began with the creation of The North Sea Project in collaboration with composer Adam Kent (Sharks Took The Rest, Joy Atlas).
From this, Musikeum was established with a view to creating an infinite number of projects specific to places, people and events. Through this embrace of storytelling and original music, Musikeum seeks to unfold our ever-changing society and help develop unity and understanding amongst cultures.
The museum is open to all:
both viewers and contributors.
If you have an idea for a potential Musikeum project or event, please don't hesitate to write and tell us about it. Whether it's a live event, a folktale or a piece of research, we would love to talk to you about it.
Use the heading 'Project Proposal' and the name of your project.
We would also love to hear from you if you are interested in helping to run the project. A lot of organisation and admin goes into the upkeep of the museum, so if you've got a talent for social media communication, graphic design, event organisation or anything you think could contribute, then send us an e-mail!
Use the heading 'Museum Staff' and your name.
